Privacy notice
Last updated August 17, 2026
What is collected
- Account data — email address and authentication identifiers, handled by the hosted authentication provider. If you sign in with Google, that provider shares your email and basic profile with the app.
- App data you create — watchlist symbols and trade journal entries, including tickers, dates, prices, sizes, and any notes you type.
- Technical data — standard server and infrastructure logs such as IP address, user agent, and request timestamps, kept for security and reliability.
Sentigraphs does not ask for, and you should not enter, brokerage credentials, account numbers, government identifiers, or payment details.
Why it is used
Your data is used only to operate the features you use: authenticating you, showing your watchlist and journal, and keeping the service secure and functional. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising or profiling.
Who can see it
Watchlist and journal rows are private to your account and protected by row-level database security so that other signed-in users cannot read them. The hosted database, authentication, and application-hosting providers process this data on the operator's behalf.
Third-party feeds and embeds
Market, news, and social data are requested by the server from public endpoints, so those providers see the server's request rather than yours. Embedded widgets, such as X timelines or Reddit posts, load directly in your browser; those platforms may set their own cookies and receive your IP address under their own privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
Account and app data are kept until you delete them or ask for your account to be removed. You can delete individual watchlist and journal entries in the app at any time; deletion is immediate and permanent.
Sale and sharing of personal information
Sentigraphs does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. No personal information has been sold or shared in the preceding 12 months, and none is knowingly sold or shared for consumers under 16. Personal information is disclosed only to service providers (hosting, database, authentication) for business purposes under contract. You may still record an opt-out, and the Global Privacy Control browser signal is honored automatically, on the Your Privacy Choices page.
Cookies and browser storage
Sentigraphs sets no advertising cookies. Strictly necessary storage keeps your sign-in session, your disclosure acknowledgement, and your privacy preferences. Optional analytics and third-party social embeds are off until you turn them on. Details and controls are in the cookie & tracking notice.
Acknowledgement records
When you accept the disclosure notice or change your privacy choices, Sentigraphs stores a record containing a random visitor id, the policy version, your choices, whether a Global Privacy Control signal was present, and the timestamp — plus your account id if you are signed in. This is kept as proof of consent even when analytics are off; the page you were on is stored only with analytics consent. Signed-in users can view their own records on the Your Privacy Choices page.
Your rights
California residents have the right under the CCPA/CPRA to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients; to request correction of inaccurate information; to request deletion; to obtain a portable copy; to limit the use of sensitive personal information (none is collected); and to opt out of sale or sharing. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of other U.S. states and other jurisdictions may have analogous rights. Requests are verified through control of the account email address and answered within 45 days (extendable by 45 more where permitted); an authorized agent may submit a request with written permission. Contact the operator through the contact option on the site, or use the Your Privacy Choices page.
Accessibility
Sentigraphs works toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA. See the accessibility statement for current status, known limitations, and how to report a barrier.
Contact
