Your preferences
Sign-in session, your disclosure acknowledgement, your privacy choices, and a random visitor id. Always on — the app cannot work without it.
Counts how features are used and stores which page you were on when you accepted the disclosures. Off by default.
- Sentigraphs (first-party) — Counts page views and feature usage in our own database. No third party receives the data.
Third-party social widgets (X timelines, Reddit embeds). Those platforms load their own scripts, set their own cookies, and see your IP address. Off by default.
- X Corp. — Renders embedded X timelines. Sets X cookies and receives your IP address. · counts as sharing under CPRA
- Reddit, Inc. — Renders embedded Reddit threads. Sets Reddit cookies and receives your IP address. · counts as sharing under CPRA
Sentigraphs does not sell personal information. Turning this on records the opt-out and immediately blocks every third-party widget that could constitute sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What Sentigraphs itself stores
Sentigraphs does not set advertising cookies and runs no ad network. The only data kept in your browser is local storage used to operate the app:
- Disclosure acknowledgement — records that you accepted the risk disclosures so the notice does not reappear every visit.
- Privacy preferences — your analytics, embed, and do-not-sell choices.
- Random visitor id — a non-identifying value used only to avoid double-counting acknowledgements.
- Sign-in session — strictly necessary authentication tokens set by the hosted auth provider when you sign in.
Strictly necessary storage cannot be switched off, because the app cannot authenticate you or remember your acknowledgement without it.
Third-party embeds
Social embeds (X timelines, Reddit posts) load from those platforms and set their own cookies and receive your IP address under their own policies. They stay blocked until you enable "third-party social embeds" above. Market, news, and social data used for scoring is fetched server-side, so those providers see the server's request, not yours.
Browser signals
Sentigraphs honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, the do-not-sell/share opt-out is applied automatically and shown as enforced. Clearing your browser storage resets all preferences to their default (optional categories off).
